Curry Chicken with Apple Cider Vinegar

Recipe Containing Apple Cider Vinegar

1½ kilo chicken
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon mustard powder
2 teaspoons chilli powder
2 teaspoons cumin powder
3 cloves of garlic
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 stick cinnamon
 Salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 tablespoons sunflower oil
2 onions
sweet peppers
















Instructions
  • Take all the ingredients except the chicken, onion, sweet peppers and oil. 
  • Mix them to a pulp, crushing the garlic and cloves.
  • Cut up the chicken, cover all parts with the mixture. 
  • Leave for at least three hours, or overnight.
  • Fry the onion in the oil. Add the chicken, sweet peppers and spices.
  • Cook in a closed saucepan until the chicken is well done. 



Chicken in Chocolate
1 chicken
1 cupful boiling water
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon parsley
3 cloves garlic
Sunflower oil
1 tablespoon whole meal breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons grated plain chocolate



















Instructions
  • Brown the chicken in a casserole.
  •  Add the garlic, parsley and chopped onion and brown them lightly.
  •  Then add in the cider vinegar and boiling water.
  •  Stew gently in the oven until cooked then increase the heat.
  • Add the chocolate and breadcrumbs and cook for a few minutes before serving.
