Apple Cider Vinegar for Health and Use

Apple cider vinegar has been used in folk medicine for thousands of years.

Weight loss

By reducing the number of calories you ingest daily you will experience a weight reduction naturally after a period of time. You can also use apple cider vinegar with high protein meals that will take away your hunger and will make you eat less daily. 

Dandruff

Rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar after your shampoo. It will give  body to your hair and shine.

Add half a cup of vinegar to four cups of water.

Acne

Splash on three times a day. Keeps your skin clear and destroys any bacteria on your skin. One cup in a tub of water will soften your skin and restore the skin’s acid balance to normal.

Diabetes

People with type 2 diabetes were asked to participate in a study. They had to take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in water each evening and the results showed lowered glucose levels the next day.

Sore throat

The bacteria fighting properties of apple cider vinegar cures sore throat. Add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. Gargle every hour.

Dr Jarvis also told about a function where the fish was contaminated and everybody was sick the next day except the one lady that had eaten her fish with apple cider vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar is Anti-fungal

Apple cider vinegar has anti-fungal, antiviral and anti-bacterial properties. While apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, once the cider vinegar is metabolized in the body, it turns alkaline. Take one teaspoon in a small glass of water, twice a day. I would not take any other vinegar it has to be apple cider vinegar, made from fermented apples.

Tonic

You receive renewed energy from the potassium and enzymes in apple cider vinegar. Dr Jarvis recommended that you drink one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water with a little honey every day.

Treating Hemorrhoids with Apple Cider Vinegar

They can be painful. The main symptoms include bleeding and itching. For external hemorrhoids, take a cotton ball and soak it with apple cider vinegar. Apply it directly on the hemorrhoids for  instant relief. Soaking yourself in a tub of warm water will provide relief from pain and itching and cause the blood vessels to relax. For internal hemorrhoids consuming a teaspoon of vinegar with water may provide relief from pain.  Applying it directly may cause a slight stinging but that will stop itching and pain instantly.

Arthritis

The pain killing properties of apple cider vinegar work well for people with osteoarthritis who are suffering from joint pain. Apple cider vinegar can help to balance the body’s ph levels. Apple cider vinegar is rich in antioxidants which help to fight the free radicals in the body that are linked to degenerative diseases such as  arthritis. Apple cider vinegar works directly on the inside of the body. When you consume it in food or drink it helps to dissolve uric acid that build up in the joints in people suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.

Clears your Sinuses.

Apple cider vinegar contains pectin which can help soothe intestinal spasms. It strengthens the immune system. Drink a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water to help clear your sinuses.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Relief

Angina

When the arteries of your heart do not receive enough blood, this causes a suffocating pain in the upper chest, and can include the neck and left arm. Apple cider vinegar taken regularly makes the attack less severe.

Arthritis

Add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a small glass of water. Take twice a day or three times a day if the arthritis is severe. A friend of mine needed a crutch for support to avoid too much pressure on her knee when walking. She can now walk pain free since taking apple cider vinegar regularly.

Catarrh 
Add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a small glass of water and take three times daily. Apple cider assists by clearing catarrh.

Colds

Drinking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a small glass of water twice a day will keep you free from colds.

Diarrhea

Add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to a small glass of water. Drink every three hours. Should it not clear up after you have taken it a few times, consult a Doctor.

Hair Rinse

Add half a glass of apple cider to final rinse, after washing your hair.

Hay Fever

Many people are very sensitive to pollen in the air in summer. Drinking one or two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a small glass of water twice a day brings much sought relief from hay fever.

Heartburn

When taken with a meal, a teaspoon of apple cider in a glass of water prevents the unpleasant burning sensation.  

Hiccoughs

Hiccoughs can be very irritating, by sipping a teaspoon undiluted apple cider vinegar you should have quick relieve.

Laryngitis

Add one teaspoonful of apple cider vinegar to half a glass of water, every two hours throughout the day.

Mouth Wash

One tablespoon of apple cider in a glass of water may be used as a mouthwash after brushing your teeth. Mouth ulcers and sores will also disappear soon with this treatment, take three times a day should you have mouth ulcers.

Swollen Legs

Standing all day may cause swelling, Apply apple cider vinegar to the swelling every hour. A cloth soaked with apple cider and placed on the legs produce good results.

Shingles

Shingles causes a burning pain, apple cider dabbed along the sore areas will soon give relief.

Skin

Using apple cider regularly will improve the elasticity of the skin.
