Apple Cider and the Plague

 Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has many medicinal properties. It lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. It is a digestive aid and gives relief from heart burn.  It assists with type 2 diabetes by improving insulin sensitivity. Choosing apple cider vinegar made from organic apples is the best way to ensure that it contains all the minerals and no  pesticides. A  natural sediment with pectin, trace minerals, enzymes which you can see floating at the bottom of the bottle indicates that your vinegar is of the best quality. Apple cider vinegar was originally used as a food preservative and Hippocrates used it to manage wounds. It also contains properties that breakdown fats. The acids in this vinegar bind to toxins before removing them from our body.

During the ‘black death’ plague, 4 thieves were caught stealing from the properties of those who died of the plague. According to legend the Judge announced that they could go free if they told him how they avoided getting sick when they handled goods that were infected with the plague. They had mixed cider vinegar and garlic to the water and washed everything with it. They also bathed in the cider vinegar and garlic water.
